Repeater Info

The HHARC supports two repeaters within the city of Huber Heights, Ohio.
The frequencies are 442.950+ PL 118.8hz and 224.300-.

The main repeater (442.950) is a Motorola Micor outputting 38 watts and is controlled by a Link RLC1+ controller, using a PL of 118.8 for access. The Repeater is located at the P&R Communications Site on Executive Boulevard in Huber Heights, Ohio. The receive antenna is at 300 foot and the transmit antenna is at 250 foot. The antennas are fed with 1 1/2" helliax up the tower.

The repeater was donated and is maintained by one of our members, Glen Hochwalt W8AK. The Repeater covers the city of Huber Heights and surrounding area like a blanket. Anyone in the Huber Heights area is welcome to use the repeater and PLEASE, let us know how it sounds.

HHARC wishes to Thank Glen for all the help and time he has put into our repeater and P&R Communications for the tower and building space.

The secondary repeater (224.300) is in the process of being upgraded. More Information to follow
